Smugglers is an impressive upstairs-living spacious holiday house with a unique uninterrupted view across Thornham's marshes to the sea. It is beautifully presented throughout and designed with the kitchen on the first floor. There are four bedrooms, two of which are en-suite. Three of the rooms have super-king size beds, the fourth smaller room has a king size. All rooms can be divided into singles as required. Another bathroom is situated on the ground floor, along with a utility room. Three dedicated parking spaces are located at the rear of the property accessible through the pretty south facing back garden.
We welcome guests with well-behaved dogs ... and of course, vice versa. The newly restored Lifeboat Inn is just the length of a cricket pitch away ... maybe a little longer on the way back!
The property comes fully equiped with Wifi, Sky TV, Wood Burner, Bed Linen, Towels, Laundry Facilities, Dishwasher Freezer, Barbeque, Travel Cot, High Chair and a Stair Gate.
There are 3 pubs inThornham ....The Lifeboat Inn, The Chequers and The Orange Tree. All serve food 7 days a week .
The Championship golf courses of Hunstanton and The Royal West Norfolk at Brancaster are less than 10 minutes away.
Within 10 miles are the magnificent country houses of Holkham Hall and Houghton Hall where an International Horse Trials takes place in May.
The Burnham Market Eventing Centre is also close by. Brancaster Staithe and Burnham Overy Staithe are popular sailing venues but if beaches are your thing you’ll be spoilt for choice. Thornham Beach is close to SMUGGLERS or you could drive to Holme, Brancaster or Holkham Beaches.
For ornithologists the reserves at Holme andTitchwell are right on SMUGGLERS doorstep.
